Description
The 1889 line of pasta products by Recheis feature delicious pasta varieties that are entirely vegan. This pasta is made with an old, particularly aromatic variety of durum wheat semolina from the Carnuntum region (Donauauen National Park / Austria). Made using the traditional bronze die extrusion process, this flavourful pasta has a slightly roughened surface so that sauces stick better.
Cooking tips: Bring one litre of salted water to the boil for every 100 g of pasta in a large pot. Add the desired amount of pasta to the boiling water and cook for 9 minutes for an al dente texture. Drain and mix with the sauce of your choice while still hot. Enjoy!
