Since the masala mixture is very diverse, it also has a diverse number of uses. The strong flavour pairs well with meat dishes and can also be used to season vegetables, legumes and soups. Garam masala should always be added at the end of the preparation of the dish. For meat, it is better to use the spice right away. For a classic chicken tikka, for example, marinate the chicken with yoghurt and garam masala before you put it on the grill. You can use garam masala with many other dishes, even in salads. Just be creative!
