The speciality of this pepper, cultivated in a complex process and harvested in Indonesia, is the slightly numbing effect it has on the tongue. This also stimulates the flow of saliva and all the taste nuances of your dish are perceived more intensely.
How to use: You should only grind the whole peppercorns shortly before consumption. Crush them or grind them in a spice grinder directly over the dish: this is how its sharp, citrus-like aroma comes into its own.
