Description
This sea salt is dried in the sun and then filled into a bamboo tube. The tube is sealed with clay and fired in an open fire. This process is repeated up to nine times. The final product is a basic salt that is ground into a powder.
The unconventional production method ensures an intensely salty taste. It should therefore be used very carefully and should be added during the cooking process. The salt is ideal for Korean dishes served with rice and millet.
The bamboo salt by Finest Food age is roasted over fire 3 times. Each time it is heated, the pH-value of the salt increases, as well as the mineral content of the salt.
